UR-CASS organizes a public talk on Genocide denial vis-à-vis BBC’s Documentary “Rwanda’s Untold Story” at the 66th commemoration of the Genocide Convention

The University of Rwanda (UR)’s College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) organized a two day session to join the world in commemorating the 66th anniversary of the Genocide Convention. From 9th to 10th December 2014, academicians are sharing their scientific analyses on the controversial BBC’s Documentary “Rwanda’s Untold Story” vis-à-vis indications of Genocide denial.

DAY ONE

CASS-School of Law wins the Regional Moot Court Competition 2014

A Team of two students from the University of Rwanda (UR), College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) in the School of Law won the Regional Moot Court Competition on children rights held from 12th to 14th November 2014.

UR Huye Campus officially launches the National Service activities

On Saturday, 22nd November 2014, the University of Rwanda/Huye Campus officially launched the activities of the National Service by organizing a special community work commonly known as Umuganda in Kinyarwanda. This comes in the framework of the National Service in Higher Learning institutions launched by the Right Hon. Prime Minister on 1st October 2014.
