New UR Nyarugenge Campus Students’ leadership vows to advocate for their mates

On 10th November 2017, the outgoing committee of the University of Rwanda (UR) Nyarugenge Campus Students’ Union handed over to the new committee at UR Nyarugenge Campus Conference Hall. Speaking at the occasion shortly after taking the oath, Mr. Nziza Audri, the newly elected Guild president solemnly promised to stand for all students and collaborate with all UR Nyarugenge Campus community. “I will stand for all UR Nyarugenge students and I promise to fulfill all my responsibilities as Guild President”, he said.

In his speech, the principal of College of Science and Technology Dr. Gatare Ignace thanked the outgoing committee for their hard work and commitment to serve the students’ community and University of Rwanda as a whole. He invited the new committee to also serve students keeping in mind the oath they have taken as they have committed to a highest level of responsibility. “Thank you for accepting that responsibility and whatever you do please refer to those words”, he said. Dr Gatare also recalled the Executive Committee that they have to serve the students with commitment and integrity as Nyarugenge Campus has the highest number of students according to the UR recent statistics.
