Some 50 students from University of Rwanda-Huye campus on June 11 visited Ntarama Genocide Memorial in Bugesera where they toured the different sections of what used to be a place of worship.
The former Catholic parish was the scene of horrendous crimes during the Genocide against the Tutsi. It hosts the remains of thousands who lost their lives at the site and its environs.

University of Rwanda students grouped in the association Rwanda Village Community Promoters (RVCP) on Wednesday 12 May 2021, donated school materials to 245 pupils of Rukara Primary School, in Huye District.
RVCP says the aim of the activity is to improve formal and informal education for underprivileged children. Beneficiaries received packages containing notebooks, pens, school bags, and school uniforms.
